The secret is out of the bag now! There are so many things you can do to prepare for your boudoir session and I address many of them on this blog for you to peruse at your leisure. But one of the best things you can do is bring variety to your session.

VARIETY OF YOURSELF

You can't be put in a box. You are a complex human being with many aspects to your personality, right? Don't be afraid to show off these different sides of you in your boudoir session. You can be playful, you can be sensual, you can even be goofy. You aren't one thing, why should your photos look like you are? Be every facet of yourself during these photos!

VARIETY OF LOOKS

Don't bring 4 different black bodysuits to your session. Change things up! Bring things that are fun, things that are sexy, things that are cozy. Give yourself options and don't forget robes, sweaters, and button downs that can change up your look!

If you want some specific guidance, bring the following variety:

• 1-2 bodysuits

• 2-3 bra & panty sets

• 1 unique item (such as a floral robe, garter belt, a pair of denim, crop top, flowers, book, etc.)

• 1 item from your partner's closet (button down, tie, oversize t-shirt, jersey, etc)

• 1 jacket (bomber, denim, leather, blazer, etc.)

• 1 sweater with a wide neckline

VARIETY OF EXPRESSIONS

This one ties into the variety within your personality. It's great if you're cute and flirty in some photos and sensual and sexy in others. You aren't one thing, so let's show that off! Laughing photos can be just as good as photos with a more sensual expression.
