COZY OUTFITS FOR YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
Maybe you're the type of person who really loves to be comfy and cozy by the fire with a good book and a chunky sweater. Maybe you just enjoy being comfortable and you want to reflect that aspect of your personality in your boudoir session.
If you're looking for a cozy outfit for your boudoir session, I've got you covered with some cozy outfit ideas that will keep you feeling comfy while looking relaxed and beautiful.
SWEATERS
This is one of my favorite ways to bring in a cozy element that is very cute and flirty!
I recommend looking for sweaters that have a wide neck that we can play with! In general. it's a good idea to keep the fabric on the lighter side so it doesn't conceal your curves unnecessarily.
Cardigans with buttons down the front also work really well. Since they open in the front, they give us a lot of freedom to button, unbutton, cover strategically, etc.
OVERSIZE SHIRTS, CROP TOPS, & T-SHIRTS
I've been seeing a lot of super cute crop tops lately and I am 100% here for it! I love a good Henley shirt or a shirt with a wide neck.
Whether you go for one of your husband's long sleeve t-shirts or bring in your own tank top to wear without a bra, your can't go wrong with a good shirt and underwear combo. I always recommend a cheeky or thong underwear cut!
DENIM
Maybe jeans aren't the most comfortable thing you've ever worn, but they definitely have a way of giving off a cozy vibe. I love fitted jeans for boudoir, but wide leg can be a really fun option too!
You can pair them with a bralette, bodysuit, sports bra, regular bra, flowers, crop top, or nothing at all.
BLANKETS
Another cozy and comfy option is to wrap up in a blanket! It's got a lovely next morning vibe about it and a blanket is a great way to show off your chest and arms. I always keep a blanket on the studio bed, but you're welcome to bring your own if you are going for a certain look!
ACCESSORIES & DETAILS
Don't forget to accessorize! It's a great way to bring your personality into your session.
I love when women bring in cute socks - especially to pair with sweaters. It's cozy, cute, and intimate.
If you're a bookworm, it can be really fun to bring your favorite book as a prop! We can strategically cover parts of your body or get a few photos of you looking cozy and sexy while reading.
Don't forget to be intentional about your nails! I recommend natural nails in a nude or soft pink or with classic French tips because they will compliment every outfit while looking polished without drawing unnecessary attention. Don't forget the toes!
